Millwall midfielder Danny Spiller had surgery on his injured hip on Sunday. His recovery is likely to take four months.

Danny had recently returned from ten months out of the game through injury when he picked up his latest knock.

Millwall physiotherapist Bobby Bacic said: "Danny elected to have surgery on his hip last week."

"The surgeon carried out a full investigation of both the hip and the groin, and he expects Danny to return to full training in four months time."
