Upload main image here: ![]() ![]() ![]() | We´ve lost three and drawn one of our last four games and the picture´s not looking too rosy. We´re only one place above the drop zone now and we have to be really careful we don´t fall any further. No one is panicking and we´re confident we´ll get out of trouble, but you can´t help but keep one eye on those teams below you. As it happens, I honestly think we´re in a false position. We´ve suffered from injuries and suspensions, it´s been hard to keep a settled side and that has impacted on our results. We´ve also been unlucky in quite a lot of games. But we are where we are and it´s up to the players now to get us out of the position we are in. We need to win our home games, and then everything else should hopefully take care of itself. It´s so tight at the bottom of the table that if we put a couple of wins together, starting at Bristol City on Saturday, then we can make quite a significant jump up the table. I don´t know if I´ll be in the starting line-up at the weekend, but obviously I hope I am. I played up front against Forest in our last game and I feel I did well, but I´ll have to wait to see what team the gaffer picks this time around. I´ve been made aware of comments made by the chairman that he believes we need to bring in some hungry, young players to take the club forward. I don´t know if this means that I´ll be sold at the end of the season, but it is a fact that I am on the transfer list and it is possible that I could be one of several players who leaves in the summer. Obviously if the right offer comes in for me then the chairman will be tempted to take it because of our financial situation, but that remains to be seen. As things stand at the moment, though, my contract runs up until next summer and I just want to concentrate on playing for Gillingham. I´m still more than happy playing here and I´m as hungry as anyone to do well for this club. I always give my best and I´m giving my all to push us up the table. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
